The Ghost of John Dawson
According to Coxe, in 1934 a man named John Dawson was murdered in Bashall Eaves. The circumstances are unusual in that he was apparently shot with a homemade bullet and died a "mysterious death".
His apparition is said to haunt Bashall Eaves, but Coxe provides no firm location for the appearances.
